Walmart.ca

I am responsible for overseeing the Home, Appliance, and Furniture category on Walmart.ca. My role involves adapting the visual system to create digital assets for both web and mobile environments. Additionally, I conduct AB testing to align with our business objectives. A significant milestone in our journey on Walmart.ca was the successful transition from Legacy to Glass (nicknames for different versions). I closely collaborate with various stakeholders such as project managers, copywriters, site merchandisers, and developers.

A notable achievement in the journey in Walmart.ca was the successful transition from Legacy to Glass (nicknames for different versions). Throughout the revamp process, I worked diligently under significant pressure to deliver all page assets before release, while meticulously attending to details to minimize iteration cycles. The revamp achieved significant success, with a notable 130% increase in traffic following the complete migration to the new design.

AB Testing

After conducting AB testing between lifestyle images and graphics for a furniture sale event, it was evident that the lifestyle version significantly outperformed the graphic version. Consequently, we decided to proceed with the lifestyle images, despite the increased time required to consistently update product images when they are sold out. This research outcome has also influenced our approach in other categories, where we predominantly utilize lifestyle visuals to enhance sales performance.
